Where Our Story Began
Inspired by a Firsthand Understanding of Senior Care
Legacy Leisure Group was born from a deep, hands-on understanding of senior care and a passion for honoring family history.
Founder and CEO Carlos Newcastle has more than 12 years of operational and leadership experience across skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care. Throughout his career, Carlos served in roles including Community Relations Director and Life Enrichment Director.
His experience provided a firsthand look at the challenges facing senior living communities and families.
Carlos saw that traditional amenities and activities could sometimes fall short of creating meaningful resident engagement. He also saw how families, particularly those living far away, could struggle to remain connected to their loved one's experiences, memories, and everyday life.
That experience sparked an idea:
What if senior engagement could be built around the memories and experiences that make each person unique?

But the memories behind those experiences shouldn't disappear when an activity ends.
That's why we created The Legacy Vault & Family Portal, a secure, encrypted digital memory archive where families can preserve photos, videos, audio, stories, and other meaningful memories.
Each physical kit includes a QR connector that helps connect the sensory experience to the family's digital memory collection.
Together, these solutions create a bridge between memory care engagement and long-term memory preservation.
